Speedo partnered with Livity to initiate, create and launch ‘Swim United’, a purpose-led platform to make swimming more equitable and empower all children to find joy in the pool.
With many community pools in London at risk of closure, this campaign focused on raising awareness of the statistics around swimming in the UK, as well as personal stories that highlight the benefits of swimming.

Swim Zine
We partnered with local schools in South-east London
to provide a series of swim lessons, swimming gear, and
an activity booklet to get the children inspired to swim.
91% of the young people we helped with the intensive
swim courses are now water safe, and 50% are able to
swim at least 15m.
The campaign manifesto reached 13m completed views,
with the Swim Stories generating 13.9m impressions,
25.8K clicks and 10m completed views.
Over 70% of marginalised groups felt inspired and
more confident to get in the water after viewing the
Speedo content.
