Amex teamed up with Burna Boy to hype up the fans and concert go-ers in the lead up to, and at his first ever Stadium Tour. We gave fans the chance to win a series of experiences and treats, as well as putting on a solid line up of DJ’s pre-show. American Express Records
Inspiration
Taking inspiraton from Burna Boys fresh new art direction, and traditional Nigerian textile printing -
the visual identity reflected the lively energy of his music and culture.
I used various inks and handmade drawing utensils to spark ideas, which shaped the typographic exploration, and textural details. This led to development of patterns, colour combinations and graphic accents that were used across over 200 assets.
